Where You've Seen The Cast Of Bodies Bodies Bodies Before

A24 is delighting fans of genre cinema with an interesting string of premieres. In 2021 it was released with the great Lamb, a film that earned its place on several lists that compiled the best of the year and that points to a horror/fantasy with strong psychological weight. This 2022 the famous American production company got into the most classic and explicit terror by premiering X by Ti West -slasher that takes place in the middle of filming a porn film in Texas- and now delivering the first trailer for Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, an unmissable dish of horror comedy.

This film is also part of the slasher tradition and adds the key element of the remote cabin in which a group of wild young people stay.

'Bodies Bodies Bodies', an action thriller directed by Halina Reijn

Just as in the beginning of this subgenre we saw ad nauseam groups of friends dying gradually in the middle of a forest, A24's new film reinvents this tradition with generation Z, offering a satire of it. The film tells the story of a group of twentysomethings with high purchasing power who settle in the mansion of one of their parents to throw a party in the middle of a hurricane.

After losing the internet signal, they decide to play Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, a game in which one must be the murderer and the rest find out. Basically the premise of any slasher. From what we could see in the trailer, the film's commitment is to ironize the language of the new generations, strongly marked by social networks, while also giving us a good dose of blood and scares.

The film is directed by Halina Reijin from a screenplay by Kristen Roupenian and will hit theaters on August 5. The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Myha'la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Pete Davidson and Lee Pace. In addition, in the trailer we can listen as a generational nod to an unreleased song by Charli XCX.

The slasher movie premieres on August 5 Bodies Bodies Bodies

This slasher that focuses on Generation Z has been directed by Dutch filmmaker Halina Reijn from a script written by Kristen Roupenian, Sarah DeLappe, Chloe Okuno, Joshua Sharp and Aaron Jackson, and will be released in the United States on the 5th of August.

The bloody horror film has a cast led by Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha'la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace and Pete Davidson, and little is known about its premiere in Spain. However, we already know that Bodies Bodies Bodies will present us with a story centered on a group of twenty-somethings with a lot of money planning a hurricane party in a remote family mansion. How could it be otherwise, something goes terribly wrong at this party and the bloodbath becomes a reality.

A24 has dropped the first trailer for their new Halina Reijn-directed slasher, Bodies bodies bodies.

The film, beyond the terrifying story, promises to show us the most natural state of generation Z. Red Carpet Written by Sarah DeLappe from a story by Kristen Roupenian, Bodies bodies bodies focuses on a group of millionaires in their twenties thirsty for parties and fun , whose life changes completely in one night.

Bodies Bodies Bodies cast behaved like 'feral beasts' for that wild party scene

From what has been shared, the film takes place after the young people decide to throw a party at a remote family mansion and play "the murderer's game". "Every time we play this, someone ends up crying," says one of the girls, not imagining that this time, the game will result in more than crying.

Throughout the plot several members of this group of friends are killed and, as paranoia arises, the peculiar vocabulary of Gen Z comes to the fore with concepts such as "toxicity" and "gaslighting". Vice, lust, betrayal and a lot of blood is what awaits us with this slasher that has the ideal to capture the attention of the audience (mainly the young).

Bodies bodies bodies, which opens on August 5, stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha'la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace and Pete Davidson. In addition, an original song by Charli XCX is included in its soundtrack.

Every new film produced by A24 is an event and the upcoming release of BODIES, BODIES, BODIES is no exception.

As part of the 2022 movie releases, Bodies Bodies Bodies is the latest A24 horror film

Today you can see the official trailer of this slasher starring Lee Pace ("Foundation", "Halt and Catch Fire") that will be released in American theaters on August 5 and whose first reviews are being brilliant.

Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, Amandla Stenberg, Pete Davidson and Myhala Herrold complete the cast of this film directed by Halina Reijn.

Halina Reijn is an acclaimed Dutch actress, known for appearing in works by Ibsen and Shakespeare, whose filmmaking debut was 2019's intense prison drama Instinct… however, she is now in the industry spotlight thanks to a horror comedy that Pete Davidson and Maria Bakalova star for A24. How did she come to this?.

When will ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ be on Netflix?

“My whole life has been Hedda Gabler, The Taming of the Shrew,” she says. "I thought, can I have some fun?" And so she decided to do it, with Bodies Bodies Bodies. In it, the Saturday Night Live star's character throws a weekend party for a group of well-to-do 20-something friends at his father's remote mansion.

After copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, the friends decide to play a game called "Bodies Bodies Bodies," in which a designated "assassin" attempts to assassinate other players in the dark by touching them without being identified by the survivors. Kind of like a cop-thief or mafia game.

Things soon get complicated, however, as people start dying for real and friendships between the Gen Z-ers disintegrate as they try to figure out who among them is responsible behind the massacre. "It's like Mean Girls meets The Lord of the Flies," says Reijn.

Now the best way to watch Bodies Bodies Bodies is on the Netflix but if you are going to wait

Also, as if it were necessary, the stress levels of the characters are severely affected by the arrival of a hurricane, which cuts off the power supply to the mansion. "The power goes out, so they pretty much end up in the wild, surrounded by their so-called Facebook and Instagram friends. But are they really friends?" says Maria Bakalova, an Oscar-nominated actress for her role in the Borat sequel.

In addition to Davidson and Bakalova, the film also stars Rachel Sennott (Shiva Baby), Myha'la Herrold (Industry), Chase Sui Wonders (Generation) and Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies, Guardians of the Galaxy), who plays the boyfriend older of the Wonders character.

Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give) stars as a newly sober assistant named Sophie who shows up to introduce the group to her new girlfriend, Bee, played by the Borat actress. "At first, she's quite charming and relatable," Stenberg says of Sophie. "But you start to understand that there are some really complicated parts of it and some not-so-nice details that will come out as the pressure builds."

The film's screenplay, by playwright Sarah DeLappe, is based on a story by author Kristen Roupenian and makes use of slasher and cabin horror clichés, but adds just enough twists and turns to keep audiences guessing. Bodies Bodies Bodies also follows in the horror tradition by using gory mayhem as a vehicle for social satire.

WATCH Amandla Stenberg’s new action film ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ is a fun

The film combines this Scream-like self-aware factor with a generational satire similar to what George Romero achieved with 1970s consumerism in Dawn of the Dead, or Mary Harron's American Psycho with 1980s Wall Street.

Pete Davidson has surpassed his fame as an actor and comedian in recent times to become a true celebrity after confirming his love affair with Kim Kardashian. Now, the member of Saturday Night Live is back in the news for being chosen to be part of a trip to space in the coming days.

The journey on which the protagonist of The King of Staten Island will embark will be on the Blue Origin rocket from Jeff Bezos' company. The trip will last 10 minutes and he will be accompanied by five people, mostly businessmen. The takeoff is scheduled for March 23 and, prior to the launch, the actor will have to complete a training day at the Blue Origin station located in Texas.

On the cinematographic plane, Davidson is in the middle of preparing the film I Slept With Joey Ramone, a biopic about the Ramones singer directed by Jason Orley. The actor will be in charge of playing the musician and about this challenge he told Billboard: "I'm definitely taking it very seriously and I'm doing my research."

The film based on Mickey Leigh's memoir will be a Netflix production and Davidson himself will also serve as producer. The film will seek to encompass the multifaceted spirit of the singer and on this Pete limited: “Joey did a little of everything and we are following his life, so you are going to see a little of that. Its a lot. It's going to be very interesting and I'm excited."
